Maya Reynolds of CLADE is a Los Angeles-based fashion designer known for her artisanal approach to sustainable high-end streetwear. As the founder of CLADE, Maya brings a sculptural sensibility and an eye for timeless quality with an edge to every garment. Drawing from historical fashion and ethnic textiles, her work reflects an expressive style crafted from textural materials made from natural fibers.

Each CLADE piece begins in her studio, where Maya personally sketches and drapes silhouettes by hand. Working closely with a trusted team, she refines every design through multiple revisions before producing small batch runs locally in Los Angeles. Her commitment to quality, originality, and conscious production lies at the heart of the brand.

For Maya, fashion is more than a profession—it is a spiritual practice and personal vocation. Her work is guided by integrity, ensuring that both the creation and the method are in service to her heart, mind, community, and the world at large.

The driving force behind her design is to support the true expression of her clients. She creates garments that uplift and inspire—pieces that add meaning to the lives of those who wear them and support individuals to fully embody who they truly are.

Raised among professional artists and deeply connected to nature, Maya developed an early affinity for working with her hands that evolved into a passion for fashion as a three-dimensional art form.

Maya studied figurative sculpture at UC Santa Cruz before earning her fashion degree from Otis College of Art & Design. In 2012, she launched CLADE and opened a flagship storefront in Downtown LA, which served as a retail space, creative studio, and wholesale hub. While her primary focus has been menswear through CLADE MAN, she is now expanding into bespoke womenswear, with plans for CLADE WOMAN and CLADE HOME.

Maya continues to offer custom clothing for a range of use, from daily wear to stage performance and plans to lead design expeditions to remote regions

that inspire her work.
